About Us
A number of Sierra Leonean Adventists in North America who identified with the challenges and opportunities of the Seventh-day Adventist church in post war Sierra Leone established TAASLA in 2003.
TAASLA provides a forum that allows Adventists, friends and interested partners to bring together their resources in developing a shared vision for charitable community and religious work in Sierra Leone.
Over the years, TAASLA has responded to a number of capacity building needs for the church, which included transportation, infrastructure and financial assistance for education and pastoral ministry.
As we intensify our efforts in creating a more responsive church in Sierra Leone by enhancing its capacity, we also embark on initiatives for our community in North America. Such plans include camping retreats that we hope will provide an opportunity for lively interactions and broader participation in program planning and implementation.
There is plenty of room in this community and you are welcome on board.
As a church and community oriented organization, TAASLA seeks to develop strategic partnership with individuals, groups and organizations both within and outside North America for greater impact in accomplishing its mission.
You can become a part of TAASLA’s vision through financial contributions, in-kind donations, networking opportunities and the use of your skills and expertise.
TAASLA offers a wide opportunity for involvement in helping to shape the future direction of an association with great potential to contribute to the enrichment of our lives and others. We encourage you to navigate the website and contact us if you have any questions and comments, especially around projects that you are interested in becoming a part. Once again, welcome and God bless you.
